Let me cut to the chase…at the end of 2017 we stopped RV’ing and have sold both our Vilano 5th Wheel RV and our RAM 3500 dually truck. The why of stopping requires a little background.
Nice to have a few days of sunshine after the recent rains and thunderstorms. Maggie is handling it all pretty well now that she's on Xanax for noise phobia.
If you’re a believer in the theory of evolution then all life originated in the ocean/sea. I put forth there also might be an argument made that the love of nomadic living also originated in the ocean as the above far, far, far distant cousin of an “RV’er” in the photo above might demonstrate. :-)
Maggie loves walking in the surf along the beach and wading deeper at a sandbar where the beach comes to a point and the water remains shallow well out from shore. Of course she usually gets a walk at least once per day and these photos represent a few of the sights from one of these walks. From the beach access point we normally walk toward the more deserted end of the beach eastward...
After yesterday's 190 mile drive due south from Perry, Georgia, we find ourselves again in Florida, along the Suwannee River. We'd travelled and stayed not terribly far from here during our 2015 RV adventures so the landscape seems familiar.
While here in Perry, GA, we've been planning our travels for the rest of 2017, following a couple of months in Florida.
