WordPress 2.5 has been released after six months development.
This version is considered a MAJOR upgrade so those with established WordPress sites should take care to test all plugins and themes carefully.
Meandering Passage has not been upgraded yet. After further investigation I will probably make the move in a few days.

It’s been a very busy week for Apple software updates, and it’s only Tuesday. ~grin~
Updates have included:
Today’s Updates:
The Apple TV 2.0 free update was released this afternoon. This update includes direct Movie rentals as well as other features.
A major upgrade to Apple’s photo workflow management software, Aperture, was released. Aperture 2.0 features hundreds of changes and improvements and also marks a price reduction. Upgrade pricing is available via the Apple online store.
Yesterday’s Updates:
Apple released their much anticipated Leopard OS X 10.5.2 update that addresses complaints concerning some Leopard features, added new features and fixed many reported bugs. A complete list of the items addressed by the update can be found at the Apple site.
A Leopard Graphics 1.0 update was also released that was dependent upon the 10.5.2 update. The only details for this update was that it improved stability and compatibility of your Mac.

WordPress 2.3.3 was released on February 5th, 2008, as an urgent security upgrade due to a “registration flaw” found in the XML-RPC implementation of the previous version(s).
In addition version 2.3.3 fixes a few minor bugs.
Meandering Passage has upgraded to this new version as of this morning so if you notice anything unusual please comment.

WordPress 2.3.2 was released a few hours ago. According to WordPress:
WordPress 2.3.2 is an urgent security release that fixes a bug that can be used toexpose your draft posts. 2.3.2 also suppresses some error messages that can give away information about your database table structure and limits and stops some information leaks in the XML-RPC and APP implementations. Get 2.3.2 now to protect your blog from these disclosures.
As a little bonus, 2.3.2 allows you to define a custom DB error page. Place your custom template at wp-content/db-error.php. If WP has a problem connecting to your database, this page will displayed rather than the default error message.
Meandering Passage has been upgraded to version 2.3.2. There doesn’t appear to any issues at this time.
Please let me know if you notice any problems.
Update - 12/30/07:
By monitoring Meandering Passages 404 messages I discovered that the Print Post feature was not working. This was not directly related to WordPress 2.3.2 but rather due to my forgetting to regenerate permalinks once I’d completed the upgrade. I always forget this step.
The Print Post feature is now working.

I recently experienced my first problem while installing Apple’s OS X 10.5 Leopard.
This install took place on a Mac Cube upgraded with a 1.2 ghz G4 processor, 1 gb of memory and a 120 gB hard disk. With this install I’d selected to do the upgrade option which upgrades over the current version of OS X, in this case Tiger 10.4.x
The problem surfaced when the upgrade was complete and the Cube rebooted. While booting it would reach the grey screen and apple logo and then immediate shut itself off. There didn’t seem to be a way around this shut-down cycle. However, I found a mention of this problem on Cubeowners Forum where others had gotten around this shut-down by booting back to the Leopard install disk and doing an archive and install installation instead of an upgrade.
Once the archive and install installation was complete the Mac Cube booted and ran without any additional problems. The Apple OS X 10.5.1 Software Update upgrade also downloaded and installed with no issues.
Based on this I would recommend any Mac Cube owners to choose the Archive and Install option as their first choice.
