WordPress 2.8.5

Wordpress 2.8.5 is available and features code cleanup and addresses some potential issues–they’re calling it a “Hardening Release” whatever that is.
The upgrade at Meandering Passage from WordPress v2.8.4 was unevenful and only took a minute using the automatic upgrade feature from within WordPress.

Adobe has made Lightroom 2.4 and Camera Raw 5.4 available. There have been a number of bug fixes and additional camera support. Fixes include:

Web galleries with a Collection Title of six characters would not export or upload
The crop aspect ratio could revert to the last selected ratio even when reset to original

WordPress v2.8 Released

Yesterday, June 10th, WordPress 2.8 was released. It includes a theme browser, redesigned widgets interface, improved speed and fixes for a reported 790 bugs. It can be downloaded here.

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2.2 Available

It must be update week, yesterday was Apple OS X 10.5.6 and today it’s Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2.2 (Mac, Win).
Lightroom 2.2 includes support for additional cameras as well as a number of bug fixes. Also Camera profiles are now available in the Calibration panel in the Develop module.

Apple OS X 10.5.6 Released

For the Apple Mac users, Apple OS X Version 10.5.6 was released today with many fixes, updates and additions.
OS X 10.5.6 is available via Apple Software Update and on my Intel Mac Pro was 190 Mb in size.

Nikon has released a firmware update for the D300 DSLR camera. The update is v1.10 and addresses a wide range of issues.
It’s currently available for Windows and Macintosh users.
