It’s finally arrived, U.S. Presidential Election Day! If you haven’t already voted be sure and do so even if you have to wait in line a while.

Do you wonder what’s going to fill the networks air time once the political ads are no longer running? I may have gotten a hint last night when I saw the first Christmas commercial of the season.

Will retailers be pushing extra hard this year to get consumers spending again?

  1. Well, I’ve not been watching much television, save for House. :-) I’ll certainly be glad to see all of the political advertising signs go away! They are out in the yards by the thousands!

During my walk this morning I saw lots of people standing in line at a local church waiting to vote. My gut tells me that it is going to be Obama by a significant margin. I’ll find out tomorrow morning. Tonight, I’ll do my usual stuff, then sleep. I never stay up late to listen to all of the pundits repeat the same catch phrases over and over again! :-)

  2. @Paul: I hope your gut is right about Obama. I also hope it’s by a wide margin so the GOP can’t contest it in any legal way. ;-)
