I’d taken a series of photos during our trip to Alaska this past May thinking I’d use Adobe Photoshop CS3’s “photomerge” feature to create a panorama when I returned.

I’d forgotten about them until a couple of days ago. You can see the results of my photo merge below ( Please note the main image is 1900 pixels wide.)

This panorama consist of a series of seven handheld photos covering about 130 degrees of view, allowing overlap between each photo. Merging these seven images took only a few minutes and resulted in an image of 15022 x 2256 pixels at 247 Mb.

Photoshop Photomerge did an amazing job and I’m certainly going to experiment some more creating panoramas.
