Used but loved camera gear for sale

I’m selling some camera gear, probably eventually on eBay, but I thought to give any readers of this blog a first chance if they wanted an item.

I’ll consider any reasonable offer.  Make offers via the contact form, payments via PayPal only, and I’ll pick up shipping and insurance – U.S. only!  I take care of my gear so everything here is in excellent shape and was in working order the last time used. None of these items have ever been dropped or misused. First come, first served — I’ll give this about a week and then each item will go up on auction and I’ll probably pull this post or mark it as no longer for sale.

  • Nikon D700 (body only) with MB-D10 Battery Pack & 1 Battery/charger (<26000 shutter count)
  • Nikon D300 (body only), & 1 Battery/charger (<10000 shutter count)
  • Olympus E-P3, Olympus 14-42mm 1:3.5-5.6 II kit lens, & VF-2 EVF,  & 1 battery/charger – Great 4/3’s starter kit!
  • Nikon DX AF-S NIKKOR 18-200mm 1:3.5-5.6 G ED w/hood
  • Tamron LD XR Di AF 28-300mm 1:3.5-6.3 (IF) MACRO 067 A20 w/hood

  • Nikon ED AF-S NIKKOR 70-300mm 1:4.5-5.6 G

If you need any additional information let me know.  Thanks!

I’ll give ya $100.00 for that D700. :-) Actually I would like the FX camera but money will not allow me to change much at this time. As I mentioned in one of my posts I’m saving for a 4/3 camera and a couple of lenses. I want to sell a couple camera bags myself. Good luck on the sales.

Monte…hummm, $100 for the D700…I’ve considered it, but NO! LOL

When I got the D700 I kept the D300 as a backup and second body but to be honest I hardly ever used it again and now it’s not worth nearly what it was. I didn’t want to make that same mistake with the D700…it’s a great camera but I’ll end up using the D600 and I’ve got the E-M5 as a backup. I hope to get a little out of the D700 before it becomes too old. Thanks, you too!

I passed the link along to a couple of friends who use Nikon equipment but no one replied that they were interested. That E-P3 would definitely make a nice starter kit for Micro 4/3. Good luck with the sales!

Thanks, Tom. I really didn’t expect much if any response here but I thought it was the “neighborly” thing to do before tossing it up on eBay. I’ve also checked with some of the major used camera buyers/sellers but what they offer is below what the average sale prices are on eBay. I don’t fault them for needing to make a profit as then they have to resell it but I just as soon have some of that margin in my pocket for a little bit of trouble.

Since you turned down Monte’s offer I won’t offend you with mine. I would have bought the D700 before I bought the D600 but I couldn’t find much on the market at the time and the ones I did find cost more than the D600. Good luck with the sale.

Ken, thanks. I should have seen if I could have traded that D700 to you for your new D600 before I bought mine! ;-)
