Toy Truck

Earl Moore Photography

Faithful Toy Truck

This photo is definitely a created scene, not a found one.

It started with a toy metal truck I picked out to decorate remodeled shelves — you can see it on the left side of the shelves in the “after” photo here. I staged and photographed it on the corner of my desk and then brought it into Photoshop to create grass and add a background from another photo.

I like this truck, perhaps because I use to love playing with toy trucks as a child. It’s not realistic but it’s got a lot of detail and character. It was also a fun project to do.

  5. Wow! is a good word for it. When I first saw it I though you’d gone Lensbaby on a real truck you discovered tucked away, but knowing it’s a set up toy truck makes it all that more impressive. Excellent work, Earl!
