Ready to bloom
And the sun breaks through - it seems there's some optimism about a spring.

Even while winter persist, nature plans an upcoming spring. Photo made a couple of days ago in a local park while trying out a Nikon 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6 VR “walking about” zoom lens on my D700 — this at 250mm f/9.

America’s Superbowl Sunday: I’m hoping to be entertained by the commercials tonight, although they’ve already leaked most of them. I liked it better when they kept them secret until the event.
