Japanese Maple Spring #3
Japanese Maple Spring #3

One more photo of the Japanese Maple tree leaves in our back yard. The amount of color change in just a few days is amazing. The lighting was from the last strong rays of the evening sun, giving a warm tone to the image.

I’ve never noticed it as much as I have this year, perhaps it has something to do with the colder winter we experienced?

  1. A fine job of capturing the color and beauty in the shapes of these leaves. Very nice looking post.

  2. The only plant I actually take care of on the whole 5 acres is my Japanese Maple, and despite my care it still lives. Great stuff Earl.

  3. Love it, Earl. Well, if it was due to the colder winter then so be it. The color changes is what I enjoy about the changing of the seasons.
