During a hectic weekend of helping to make a Sunday wedding happen it is often easy to lose sight of those simple pleasures that give us joy.
My daughter, Amberle, and her best friend, Katie, drove in for the wedding and on Saturday we “escaped” the hubbub for a few peaceful moments at “Bull Hole.” These two have been friends since meeting in college and have maintained their friendship well past graduation and over a distance. We think of Katie as a member of our extended family.
My son, Aaron, drove over on Sunday and was certainly a help in wrapping up preparation details — I need to take him to visit Bull Hole one day.
I didn’t ask Amberle or Katie for permission to publish this photo, so if I’m in trouble for doing so I’ll beg for forgiveness now! ;-)
