Snow Leopard Update Fixes Problems with Photoshop

For some time I’ve been working around a problem involving Adobe Photoshop (PS) CS4. When using a certain PS plugin I’d go into another select plugin and PS would crash. I could recreate this crash each time I repeated this sequence and I’ve reported it to Adobe, Apple and the plugin providers. This morning I read this:

Apple has released the Mac OS X v10.6.2 Update which, in addition to containing general operating system fixes, cures a number of problems experienced by Photoshop users. [From Snow Leopard Update Fixes Problems with Photoshop | PhotographyBLOG]

I’ve installed the update so I went into PS and tried to recreate the crash…many tries and no crash…not a single one. It appears to be fixed! :-)

So if you’re a Mac OS X Snow Leopard user and have been experiencing a Photoshop issue you might want to update to OS X 10.6.2 and see if that fixes it.
