Wrong place and timeHave you ever had a grand scheme that you thought was a sure winner only to later realize it was the wrong place at the wrong time?

I’m sure this bug’s bright green camouflage sounded like a wonderful idea a couple of weeks ago–not so much now, and certainly not here. ;-)

Maybe it knows it’s predators have flown south for the winter already? :-)

I love all the red leaves which have exposed the intruder with his bright green shell. A nice close up with eye-catching qualities.

@Mark – Or more likely, maybe it’s somebodies lunch by now. :-)

@don – Thanks. It was the contrast of colors that caught my eye causing me to first spot this little guy.

@Steve Skinner – He’d better hope the predators are as well. :-)

The photo is delightful and the comments provided non-stop smiles.

Your picture makes an interesting point. It isn’t easy for an object to steal the scene when there is anything red in the competetion, but with this fellow’s help you have demonstrated how to achieve that goal.

LOL Yes, we can lay the best plans and never see it for fulfillment. This image makes me smile. Thanks, Earl!
