Rayland VineyardsThe Photo Walk I participated in began at 10am today and was held at Raylen Vineyards, Mocksville, NC. Probably close to 30 people attended and the weather was near perfect. There were 100 acres of vineyards, a pond and an old barn/silo to explore and photograph. I had a good time and met some nice people.

My feet are tired from the walking! ;-)

Grapes on the Vine The only suggestion for this particular event was it could’ve of been more structured. Everyone broke apart and did their own thing, only meeting back later. That made it feel like less of an event and more like day-to-day individual shooting–perhaps that’s only my perception.

I’ll post more photos from the walk once I have a chance to process them.

The Charleston one was very similar, except that we had a place to meet, talk, and grab a beer or three after all of the walking. However, the walk consisted of many small groups each doing their own thing.

@Paul: I didn’t mention it in the post but our walk did end with a picnic lunch. :-)
