Second-Annual Worldwide Photo Walk

Dragonfly in B&WTomorrow, July 18th, is the second-annual Worldwide Photo Walk. I’m currently signed up to “walk” with a group from nearby Winston-Salem, NC. Our destination is a local vineyard. I’m not sure how that will be for photo opportunities, we’ll just have to wait and see.

I chose a group that was nearby in order to meet some other photographers in the area. There’s 30+ people signed up for my group and hopefully most of them will show.

Anyone else “walking” tomorrow?

I like the idea of a “walking” group of photographers regardless whether the photo opportunities live up to what you’d want. It’s worthwhile to know some others working at picture making with the same “home turf” you work with all the time. The critter shot looks great with this toning.

I’m signed up to walk in Charleston. Our walk starts at 9:00 AM tomorrow and will be through the historic district of Charleston downtown near Battery Park. I think that I’m going to shoot film!

Yes, I’m signed up. Looks like 15 of us meeting at 5:00 pm in the evening. Should be interesting. Let’s have fun!

As there was no walk in my hometown, I volunteered to lead one. Now I do hope for good weather but the forecast is quite “wet” with maybe a bit improvement in the afternoon. So I will keep my thumbs crossed…
