Patiently Waiting
It seems I’m stuck on a winter to spring transition theme. Luckily spring will soon dominate giving me new material. ;-)
This view of a hardwood forest seems still in the grip of winter but if you look closely you’ll find some signs of green beginning to make an appearance.
I have always liked how young beech trees retain their leaves through the winter. They make for an interesting element to an otherwise barren woodland.
