Scanned Art

leaves.jpg

While hanging around the house today waiting for a delivery that requires a signature, I did a little experimenting with creating visual art/media using a flatbed Epson Perfection 4870 photo scanner.

I gathered a few leaves from the yard and experimented with arranging them on the scanner until I got a pattern I was happy with. I used Adobe Lightroom 2.0 and Photoshop to enhance the colors a bit.

I’ve seen others do art/prints with flatbed scanners, but it was my first try and I’m fairly pleased with the results.
