Yesterday afternoon Apple released iPhone and iPod Touch update 2.01 with various “bug fixes.” This is the first update for the second generation iPhone which was released this past July 11th.
There’s been various reports on the effects of the update to included anything from a slight performance increase to the crashing of some third party applications.
My own update to 2.01 on my iPod Touch was without incident and thus far there’s been no major changes noted.
