For me the dual monitor support and Plugin Manager are important new features as well.

Adobe Systems Inc. released Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2 software today. New enhancements include dual-monitor support, advances in non-destructive localized image correction and streamline search capabilities. Upgrade cost from Lightroom 1.x is $99 or a new license is $299.
