I’ve hear that Seattle is beautiful and now I’d have to personally agree. This is my first visit to Seattle but Bonnie has been here before on business. I’d enjoy more time to explore the area.

_LND0905.jpg We spent Saturday night at the Seattle Marriott on Alaskan Way across from Pier 66 where Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) boats dock. Here we experienced very nice accommodations, excellent food and a location that couldn’t be beat.

IMG_1371.jpg I was out and about earlier Sunday then Bonnie and took those few moments for a look around with my camera. When she was ready we had a nice brunch and walked to Pike Place Market. Well worth seeing.

After spending some time at the market, we checked out of the hotel and crossed the street with our luggage to begin the boarding process. This process is down to a fine science and can move a lot of people in a hurry. They whole thing, from us first getting in line to the point where we were on board, took about 50 minutes.

We had a few hours to learn our way around our boat, Norwegian Pearl, and enjoy some of it’s refreshments before pulling away and beginning our cruise to Alaska.
