Dancing With The Yin And Yang Of On-Line Shopping

200805021058.jpgI’ve been shopping on the Internet for a long time and probably do 80-90% of my general shopping on-line.

I’ve noticed that there seems to be a pattern or cycle that applies to my online purchases.

For months I’ll make purchases on-line and have absolutely no problems with any item I purchase. They will be perfectly fine and reliable.

Then suddenly I’ll enter a period when almost anything I purchase will be defective or broken, even for purchases of items of the same make, type or quality as I’ve bought before. I can’t explain it, but for a period of time I’m a magnet for all the “bad apples in the barrel.”

I’m currently in one of these “defective magnet periods.” I’ve recently purchased four items on-line and have had to return two of the four (I will probably return a third.) These are items that are commonly reliable, but not now, and not for me.

As usually I’ll wait it out, returning all the defective product. The tide will soon shift and it’ll be safe for me to buy again. ;-)
