Apple Updates its iMac Computer Line

With no previous announcements or hints Apple today quietly unveiled upgrades to its iMac line of computers. The Apple store was down for a while this morning as Apple updated it’s web site with information on the new iMac models.
These upgrades include faster and more efficient processors (up to 3.06Ghz) and better graphics cards (NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GS) with additional Built-To-Order (BTO) options.
The updated iMacs are available immediately beginning at $1199 (US). The iMac’s beautiful design of aluminum and glass has been a big hit for both consumers and Apple.
