The NPD Group: 50 Percent of Mac Users in the U.S. Paid to Purchase Music Downloads versus 16 Percent of PC Users NPD Group

Interesting statistic about Mac Users being more likely to pay for music downloads. I often pay for tunes via Apple’s iTunes. However, this study also said that Mac Users were more likely to purchase CDs then PC users.

So what does this say about Mac Users as a whole, if anything? Is there a cultural divide between Apple consumers and the rest of the computing world, as this article states?
