The past Saturday, Sept. 29th, we went to the Cleveland County Fair in NC with my step-daughter, and her husband…. There’s the various rides often looking like they need of some repair, the exhibits only the locals could ever appreciate, and the fair food which is one of the best parts. We’re talking about hot sausage, cheese fries, BBQ, roasted sweet corn, smoked turkey legs, and ice cream among other favorites.For many the fair is also a major entertainment event of the year.
