My wife uses Microsoft’s Remote Desktop Connection (RDC) Client for Mac to access her office from home using a Mac Mini 1.66GHz Core Duo with 1Gb of memory.  This had been a stable but never speedy process until recently.

I installed Microsoft’s RDC Client 2.0 beta for Mac on her Mini this week and she’s reporting it being much faster then the previous RDC Client.  The 2.0 client is a Universal application while the old one would be PPC only and need to run under Rosetta on an Intel Mac.

Thus far she hasn’t had any problems with the 2.0 beta and is enjoying the substantial speed boost.

Thank you Microsoft!
