There’s reports of strange happenings with Apples’ new keyboards. Changes in layouts and re-assignment of functions to different keys.
Garrett Murray has a good write up of his first impressions and observations of the keyboards in his post titled “Strange Movements.”
I don’t know what the purpose of these keyboard changes are unless it has to do with functionality of new software such as Leopard, iLife 08 or iWork 08. Maybe there’s something coming that will take advantage of the additions “F” function keys?
Strange, very strange?
