I’ve written in the past that Apple’s iPhone will be the catalyst for changes in the cellular phones and mobile device we’ll carry, no mater what the model and manufacturer.A recent post in MacNN titled “iPhone gives mobile industry new direction” agrees with this theory and goes into some detail to explain their reasoning….  Another mentioned survey from ChangeWave suggest the iPhone is causing a virtual upheaval in the industry and is in fact changing the game.The real power of the iPhone is not in mass of features it offers….  Mobile device manufacturers should be getting the message that Apple is in the cellular/mobile device business in a big way and is serious about being successful for over the long haul.
