One of the announcements by Steve Jobs at the Apple WWDC keynote address today was the introduction of Safari browser for Windows. According to industry standard iBench tests, the Windows Safari renders web pages up to twice as fast as Microsoft IE 7 and up to 1.6 times as fast as Firefox 2.

Safari 3 public beta is available today as a free download here.

More on the other Apple WWDC announcements later.
