In “Rising Levels of Stupidity,” Shelley Powers of Burningbird makes a strong statement against wholesale consumption, waste, environmental genocide and the general lack of personal and governmental actions in regards to Global Warming.But it isn’t just the government that gets the “I killed the world and I’m proud of it” button…. Now, what all of us and our government needs to accept is: Global Warming is real; human activity is directly related or responsible for it; the extinction of perhaps thousands of species may occur due to it; and all regions of the world will suffer if actions are not taken to prevent it. Hey, sounds like a good enough reason to make some real changes!If our current government continues it’s “head-in-the-sand” approach to Global Warming then we as citizens have the responsibility of voting in new representation that will serve the best interest of our nation and our world.
