Apple iTunes: Now credit on album price for individual songs purchased, “Complete My Album”

It’s about time…

Apple has added a new feature “Complete My Album” to the iTunes Store. If you purchase one or more songs from an album you have six months to purchase the full album at a reduced price. This reduced price will be the album price with 99 cent deducted for each individual song previously purchased.

This is a great feature that allows you to “try out” a couple tracks from an album before purchasing the rest of the album without paying the full album price.

Thanks Apple

I love what itunes has done. It used to be that you wanted to buy an album because every song was cool, and not just the hit single. Maybe, this will be a signal to the record companies to stick with artists and develop great albums again.
