WordPress v2.1.2 is now available for download. This version has the fix added to the “xmlrpc.php” file that has been causing problems for users of the client Ecto2.
I’ve upgraded my test environment and Meandering Passage to this latest version and it seems to be working well. Please let me know if you notice anything “strange.”
Update Note: If you’re a WordPress user and are using version 2.1.1 it is crucial that you upgrade to the latest version (2.1.2) - particularly if you upgraded in the last 3-4 days. The reason is that there has been a hacker compromise that version and add/change code. See details here.
