Rumors continue about Apple Phone(s)

Rumors of Apple developing a cell phone(s) continue. With cell phones being such a highly competitive market, this to me would seem an unwise move for Apple. Many cell phones already have MP3 playing capabilities and this function doesn’t seem to be one that’s driving people to buy one phone over the other. I fail to see how Apple can bring much more to the market place.

Secret Notes - Apple phone line to include “smart phone”?:
October 17, 2006 - In a research note sent to clients, Prudential analyst Jesse Tortora said he expects Apple’s entry into the cell phone market will include at least two phone offerings, reiterating a Think Secret article from one month ago.
