It’s been a nice weekend spent mostly working around the house and in the yard. We had the kitchen repainted last week and I spent part of Saturday swapping out the overhead light fixture and ceiling fan for new units so that they would match the new room decor. Now only the floors and the tile back splash left to go…at least that’s what I’m being told at this point.

I didn’t post anything here on Saturday, which is the first day I’ve missed in several weeks, and I was having minor guilt pangs about it. You see, I do guilt extremely well. It’s been somewhat of a battle for me. Guilt is a worthless emotion and as such I’ve been working to not let it consume any of my time or energies, but it keeps worming it’s way in.

It’s amazing how our internal programming gets coded as we age. I guess somewhere in my formative years someone stuck a guilt sub-routine or function in my code and its been executing ever since. The nice thing is that with realization and much effort we can change this code to be more positive and productive.

If only I came with a built in de-bugger!
