Personal Content Apps for OS X

by Earl Moore on July 13, 2006

If your a Mac OS X user and are looking for an application to collect and store your notes, documents, multimedia files, and other personal content, there’s an interesting survey of four such applications on TUAW.com.

Get organized: a survey of digital junk drawer apps - TUAW.COm - David Chartier

The apps they reviewed were:

SOHO Notes (formerly StickyBrain);
DEVONthink (Standard);
Yojimbo; and
Journler

I can think of several more applications including, Mori (Hog Bay Notebook), Circus Ponies Notebook, VoodooPad, and of course TinderBox, that would have to be considered also. This is one functional area where the Mac is strong and well represented by very capable applications.
