Who’s Learning What
My original intent with this site was to remain focused on subjects and observations involving individual learning and methods for gaining new technology skills. There would be a secondary focus on Apple Mac computers and software that supports this learning experience. I expected most of these “learnings” to be from experiences outside of this site. I’ve since found that in setting up this site I’m personally learning a great deal about many things that I originally didn’t consider.
There’s the technical knowledge that I’m gaining from setting up this site: Word Press configuration, customization, themes, and PHP programming. I’m still working hard in this area and have a long way to go.
Then there’s the actual writing and posting. I’ve found myself spending additional time analyzing things and thoughts that before I would have taken for granted. I’m also trying to organize my thoughts and writings in a manor that would be clearer and more entertaining to read. The software reviews have been learning experiences as I try to develop the discipline, objectivity, and openness to new ideas/methods that will bring some value to my reviews.
